Cole Anderson is the new Northeast Iowa Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s Farm Bill Biologist. Cole will primarily be working in Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, and Winneshiek counties with the goals of maintaining and improving wildlife habitat. Cole grew up on a small farm in Northwest Iowa before attending South Dakota State and graduating with his bachelor’s degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences. After graduation, he worked for South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks before moving to Texas and starting graduate school at Texas A&M – Kingsville and Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute where he studied White-tailed deer. Cole is excited to be back up in Iowa and is looking forward to helping the landowners and wildlife managers in Northeast Iowa.
