The Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) provides technical and financial assistance to eligible farmers to address soil, water, and related natural resource concerns on their lands. CRP is administered by the Farm Service Agency (FSA), with NRCS providing technical assistance, conservation planning and practice implementation. Farmers receive an annual rental payment for the term of the multi-year contract. The payment rate is determined by soil types in the designated area. For more information on the CRP program, please contact the local FSA office at (563) 568-2148.
